This yoga retreat in Mykonos offers a healthy balance between daily yoga classes and simply enjoying life on a beautiful island, with yoga overlooking the sea, a private beach, a luxury spa, and 5-star hotel service. Enjoy morning and evening yoga classes, with plenty of time to explore the island, get a massage, learn a new water sport, or relax on the beach. Our classes are suited to all yoga levels from beginners to advanced, morning classes are active and quite invigorating based on Vinyasa flow, while evening classes are more restorative, based on Yin yoga, holding poses longer and with added meditation and longer relaxation. We practice yoga every day except for the 4th morning to allow people to visit Delos island or just sleep in a little longer. Accommodation and Meals
We are hosting our yoga retreat at the 5-star Myconian Imperial Hotel & Thalasso Spa:
A member of The Leading Hotels Of The World, the Myconian Imperial Hotel & Thalasso Spa is situated directly on Elia beach, one of the most beautiful spots on Mykonos, famous for its blue turquoise sea and incredible views out towards the Aegean — and one of the best places in Greece for a yoga holiday. The hotel is an easy commute into Mykonos town, with regular shuttle service throughout the day until 1am.
With its own private beach, thalasso-spa, two outdoor pools, health center and several restaurants, the hotel offers plenty of services to keep you entertained in between yoga classes. Spa facilities include sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, two indoor heated pools, aromatherapy and thalassotherapy services, massages, facials, manicures and pedicures.
The double and twin Deluxe Seaview rooms have all the amenities and comforts you can expect from a 5-star hotel, with twice daily housekeeping service. And there are several dining and bar options at the hotel, including a fine-dining greek restaurant, an international cuisine option, a restaurant offering grilled meat and seafood overlooking the sea, and two cocktail bars.
Mykonos is known worldwide for its jet-setting crowd and its nightlife, but there’s so much more to this island:
Mykonos has over 20 gorgeous beaches, many with umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as more secluded ones, and all are easily reachable by car or scooter, taxi or bus.
The main town of Mykonos is a maze of narrow streets curving through white-washed houses and boutique shops. During the day there’s a sense of tranquility and peace, while in the evening the town comes alive with tourists and locals sitting outside at the many restaurants and bars. Sunsets overlooking the famous Little Venice area are magical, with the familiar windmills perched above the town.
Eating in Mykonos is a true culinary experience, from top beach restaurants to gourmet cuisine in town, the food is fresh, healthy and delicious. And after dinner, Mykonos offers something for everyone, from cozy cafés by the sea to busting bars with all the latest hits. Enjoy the evening with a cocktail and good conversation, or join the rest of Mykonos and its exciting nightlife.

Getting to Mykonos
Mykonos can be reached either by airplane or boat.
Mykonos has an international airport, and several airlines have direct flights to Mykonos from many European cities. If direct flights are not available, an alternative is to fly to Athens and then take a fast boat or internal flight to Mykonos on Aegean Airlines (40 minute flight). We strongly suggest booking your flights in advance – airline prices increase substantially.
There are daily fast catamaran boats from the port of Rafina (closest to Athens airport). The trip takes approximately two hours. There are also boats from port of Piraeus in Athens city center: from here the trip takes approximately 5 hours by ferry, or 3-4 hours by high-speed boat. For all boat schedules visit the Greek Travel Pages website.
Once in Mykonos, your transfer to the hotel will be waiting to meet you.
Plan to arrive at some point on the first day, yoga classes will start the next morning.
If you wish to arrive earlier or stay longer, please let us know, we can help arrange that with the hotel.
“A perfect balance between excellent yoga classes and a fun holiday with a great group of people. Beautiful location, perfect organization, relaxing days at the beach and evenings out at delicious restaurants. Laura makes everyone feel comfortable and part of the group, and Holly’s yoga classes by the sea were wonderful. I want to go back!” Marina, Milano
“What an amazing holiday we had! Well done to Laura for organizing such a fabulous time and obviously thank you to Sarah for being such a super yoga teacher! What a star! I really haven’t enjoyed a holiday so much for a long time. The company was excellent as was the hotel, food and enjoyable yoga.” Kay, Wales
“A great holiday – yoga, hotel and setting were all excellent, but most important in making this a special experience were Laura and Holly. Laura has an intimate knowledge of Mykonos and organized restaurants, beach trips etc. with a personal touch. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done without fuss. She has a knack of being well organized but making everyone feel thoroughly relaxed.” Bernard, Amsterdam
