A Wellness Adventure along the Wild Atlantic Way!

Immerse yourself in two magical islands off the Wild Atlantic Way while practising yoga. Explore Ireland’s natural wanders and stay in a cosy hand-picked accommodations.

This 6-days wellness adventure tour will take you to magical places along the Wild Atlantic Way. You will recharge your body and relax your mind while exploring two magical islands.  You will also explore some of Ireland’s highlights including the Ring of Kerry and the Cliffs of Moher. You will practise yoga with an experienced teacher and immerse yourself in the Irish wilderness through nature walks and outdoor activities. This is a small group tour accompanied by a highly experienced yoga teacher and guide.  Cosy accommodation has been specially selected in guest houses and hotels.

This tour has been designed for you discover the authenticity of Ireland and its magic while recharging your body and relaxing your mind.  During this wellness adventure, you will practice yoga, connect with nature and visit wonderful places along the way.

Explore Hidden Gems and Natural Wonders

You will explore two wonderful Islands along the wild Atlantic coast: Inishmore in the Aran Islands and Heir Island. You will discover some hidden gems and experience two of Ireland’s most spectacular natural wonders: the Ring of Kerry and the Cliffs of Moher.

Relax and Rejuvenate through Yoga and Meditation

Our yoga and wellness activities are facilitated by highly experienced teachers. Yoga sessions can be adapted to all levels and will be suitable for beginners, or those with some experience.

Morning yoga sessions are invigorating classes of Hatha yoga, pranayama (breathing techniques) and Yoga Nidra (meditative relaxation) to give you a spring in your step for the day. Our yoga teacher is also a yoga therapist and can adapt practices if you have a medical condition. Evening sessions are a gentle wind down from your busy day, with meditation, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Restorative yoga involves very simple, gentle, restful stretches that release tension held in the deep tissues of the body. Yoga Nidra is a beautiful practice of guided, meditative rest,  that brings about a release of accumulated tension in body, heart and mind and has the ability to offer profound rest, transformation and healing.

During the programme you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the Irish wilderness, through walks, guided outdoor meditation and free time during which you might chose to cycle, hike or do some kayaking.

Day 1 Galway to the Aran Islands (L,D)

Meet your Wellness Tour Guide and fellow travellers in Galway city for a mid-morning welcome and tea. Transfer to the Aran Islands. Embark on a boat to reach Inishmore, the largest of the Aran Islands. The Aran Islands have a wild beauty that draws many day-trippers. Visitors who stay longer on the island experience the sense that they’re far further removed from the Irish mainland than the 45-minute ferry ride would suggest.

Check in an 18th century stone built elegant house and visit the most spectacular prehistoric stone fort, Dun Aengus, perched on the island’s towering cliffs. Enjoy the local food in one of the restaurant of the island for your dinner and finish the day by a relaxing yoga nidra, meditation and restorative yoga session

Day 2 Inishmore, Aran Islands (B)

Start this full day on the island with an invigorating yoga session. Take part in a guided meditation walk going through superb parts of the island where almost no visitors go. Enjoy some free time in the afternoon to discover what the island has to offer: cliffs and sandy beaches,  stone walls and small fields, prehistoric sites, a seal colony, Kilronan village with its traditional pubs and restaurants and the worm hole (location of the Red Bull Cliff diving).

Day 3 Inishmore to Killarney (B)

Begin the day with an early morning yoga session. Embark on a boat to the mainland.  Stop at the world famous Cliffs of Moher. The cliffs rise like a cathedral, 700 feet over the wild Atlantic Ocean. Views stretch as far as Galway Bay and the Aran Islands.  You will arrive in the afternoon in your hotel located in the wonderful town of Killarney which offers a wide range of traditional pubs and restaurants.

Day 4 Killarney – Ring of Kerry – Heir Island (B,L,D)

Leave Killarney to explore the world famous ring of Kerry which is considered by many to be the most scenic area in Ireland. There is a fantastic contrast of sea ravaged coastline, sandy beaches, mountains and valleys along this jaw-droppingly scenic route. Stop for lunch in a traditional pub. Take part in a two hour walk on Valentia Island from where you can see the Skelligs, these impressive rocky islands featured in the last Star Wars movies.

Arrive in Heir Island after a very short crossing by boat. The island is a hidden gem just off the Wild Atlantic Way with wide seascapes, sandy beaches, colourful sunsets, rocky coves and only the sound of nature to break the silence, a perfect place for a wellness escape. Enjoy a delicious healthy dinner in your cosy cottage followed by a relaxing yoga nidra, meditation and restorative yoga session in a room with views across the bay. A perfect way to unwind after a busy day.

Day 5 Heir Island (B,L,D)

Start by an invigorating morning yoga session and continue with a guided outdoor meditation session. In the afternoon you have some free time to explore the island or you can chose to embark on a guided kayaking trip. Enjoy a delicious dinner and some free time to relax in the evening in your cosy cottage. Finish the day by a farewell dinner in a unique and very special restaurant!

Day 6 Heir Island to Cork (B)

Start with an early morning recharging yoga session. Take the boat for a very short crossing to the mainland and transfer to Cork city. On the way, we stop at Drombeg stone circle, the finest example of a distinctive series of sacred stone circles found in the south of Ireland, nestled in the beautiful Irish country side. Reach Cork city centre early afternoon where the tour will end. Time to say goodbye.
