Tulum Yoga + Energy Retreat is a workshop designed to align and clear one’s energy field to re-invigorate the body mind spirit connection. By de-toxifying and energizing one’s core self therefore calming the systems of the body and mind, the mind body spirit connection strengthens. This creates flow and balance on many levels opening you to discover your inner glow — the flame that burns within. Calming the pathway to organically peeling away the layers of fear, stress, anxiety, mental exhaustion, physical pains, and being overworked from life experiences.

Venue Highlights

Alaya is located on the beach of Tulum town, a truly unique place tucked away in the jungle. Tulum is about living an ecological and sustainable lifestyle. During high season in the winter and spring, Tulum is a mecca for artists and musicians from all over the world who come here to share their talents and wisdom.

There are yoga retreats, eco-workshops and sweat lodges, shamanic and drumming circles, and a multitude of musicians. And this is part of what makes Tulum so special – this international community of people who appreciate design, music, dance, natural foods and who holds a deep regard for nature and individuality.

Food Menu

Enjoy our fresh and authentic Latin American cuisine on the beach, in a garden setting. With respect for all life, we prepare all dishes with natural local ingredients and serve them with lots of Love! We believe a great amount of our diet should come from fresh foods to feel truly vibrant. Your food can be delivered to you right to your room or while you relax on the beach.

Garden Apartments –

These unique villas offer an intimate natural environment with varied small partial ocean views. These villas are slightly further back on our property and offer a beautiful view of our charming garden and stone village, all while still leaving you only 60 meters from the sea’s edge. They feature premium bedding, a king size mattress and hand crafted sofa at the foot of your bed. The luxurious bathroom features a private toilet room and the showers have a high-pressure rain shower head, marble mosaic walls, and wood planked floors. The vanity counters are marble mosaic with a handcrafted wooden sink. The bed faces three walls, with our signature classic bi-folding wood and glass doors – open up all six doors to your covered deck and you will find that your indoor and outdoor become one. 400 sq ft. with deck.

Partial Ocean View Double Suite –

These elegantly designed suites are located just 45 meters from the sea. The spacious and unique indoor/outdoor deck has a large sofa with enough room to seat 5 people. These suites feature two oversized full beds – each bed has its own closet. The bedrooms have beautiful handmade wood floors and oversized windows to enjoy the radiant sunlight. The bathrooms have a separate toilet room, a marble mosaic shower with pressured rain shower head, and wood planked floors. The sinks counters are mosaic marble with handcrafted wood sinks and an oversized mirror. Enjoy your view while looking out of your room through two walls of classic bi-folding wood and glass doors. 410 sq. ft. with deck.

About the Teacher

Leigh Anne’s style of teaching focuses on connectivity between the mind + body, breathe, and spirit, blending instruction from Astanga: Principles of Alignment with Interdisciplinary Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. Her classes incorporate dynamic flowing sequences to create inner heat along with body alignment. She also focuses the restorative principles of yoga and meditation. The beauty of her classes is her calm presence and uplifting style. She encourages each student to explore him or herself fully and on many different levels. As a student of yoga for many years and a dancer even before she began yoga, Leigh Anne inherently and instinctually connects the mind, body, + spirit utilizing the breath as a bridge. In 2000, Leigh Anne received a Master Degree from New York University in Theater, Dance, and Film, keeping in line with her creative endeavors Leigh Anne continued to study yoga avidly. As time passed, Leigh Anne realized the innate power of yoga to heal. Suffering from Scoliosis since childhood, yoga has been the only source of continuous relief from pain. In the fall of 2007, she received her Yoga Teachers Certification from Frog Lotus Yoga in the Northern Berkshires. Striving to teach from a place of compassion Leigh Anne believes yoga is suitable for everyone and each individual can deepen oneself through meditation, breath, and the practice of asanas or yoga poses. Leigh Anne’s classes focus on staying connected to the inner and outer self with an emphasis on breathing, developing inner and outer mindbody awareness, as well as, core strength, muscle toning, improved posture, balance, and inner confidence. Leigh Anne encourages students to listen to their bodies and work in a way that feels right and safe while having fun. Namaste
